I’m doing a book review on Hide and Seek by Kate Messner. Overall I really enjoyed the book. It was realistic fiction but still had quite a bit of action. This is one of the best books I’ve read in a while and I have read a lot of books!
It’s about three kids, Jose, Anna, and Henry are junior members of the Silver Jaguar society. The Silver Jaguar Society is a group of people pledged to protect the world’s sacred artifacts. I’m not going to get much into that because it’s mostly explained in the first book. Hide and Seek is the second book of the series. Anyway when the kids go to the Columbian Gold Exhibit the Jaguar Cup, the exhibits prized possession is a fake! The parents go to Columbia to find the real cup but they may need the kids help after all. The kids go on a wild adventure to find the real cup when it might be hiding right under their noses. On the way they sneak into caves, meet a new friend named Sophia, and face off to the most dangerous man in the world. Overall it’s a pretty good book.
Overall I really enjoyed the book Hide and Seek by Kate Messner.
